What this BLOG is all about
The internet is a new technology that is transforming the world. There are many companies that are prepared to reap great profits through the use of the internet and the public is responsible for their profits. There are currently few regulations to monitor the way that these companies do their business. A great majority of these business that are internet based choose to conduct themselves in unethical business practices. They are not being monitored or held accountable to the public for their actions. This BLOG is essentially just a small part of a larger report that is being compiled on the behavior of various internet related companies that practice unethical behavior and violate our laws in regards to targeting of specific groups and discrimination that results from this illegal targeting. If these companies wish to continue to provide service in countries where there are laws, they must be forced to conform to those laws.
The time for vague Terms Of Service Agreements and arbitrary powers of service discontinuation based on personal bias is near the end. This report when completed will be submitted to the Federal Government of Canada and also to the American Civil Liberties Union. The entire report will be made available online after it is complete. These companies will no longer be permitted to conduct business until they are prepared to accept the monitoring of their behavior. They currently reserve the right to refuse clients but are not required to provide any explanation whywhen they refuse their services. There will be laws implemented that will be the focus of this report that will curtail that disgraceful behavior. No more will those companies and those who represent them, be permitted to continue their unmonitored practice of targeting and discrimination through the denial of service without providing a detailed explanation of why. In the future they will be forced to provide detailed explanation to their clients in order to end this vulgar practice of targeted discrimination.
"A thing worth doing is worth doing well. A thing worth doing well is worth taking the time to do it." This report will take a considerable amount of time to compile and submit. It will consist of actual true reports of incidents of discrimination as well as an investigation into the legal/civil ramifications of this. On this BLOG there will be provided some of the material that will be used for this report. The actual report itself will not be posted here until after it has been submitted.
